Longtime Fox News host Eric Bolling has reportedly been suspended from his role at the network pending an investigation concerning alleged sexual misconduct.

“Eric Bolling has been suspended pending the results of an investigation, which is currently underway,” a Fox News spokesperson told TheBlaze Saturday afternoon.

In a bombshell report by the Huffington Post on Friday, Bolling was accused of sending “an unsolicited photo of male genitalia via text message to at least two colleagues at Fox Business and one colleague at Fox News.”

A dozen sources reportedly corroborated the account, HuffPost reported. The messages were allegedly sent several years ago. The photo’s recipients also reportedly confirmed their existence, the fact that they received them and connected them to a Bolling-related phone number.

“Four people, outside of the recipients, confirmed to HuffPost they’d seen the photo, and eight others said the recipients had spoken to them about it,” HuffPost reported.

Bolling, a former co-host of hit Fox show “The Five,” is currently host of 5 p.m. EST show “The Specialists. He also hosts the Saturday morning panel show “Cashin’ In.”

The Plot Thickens: Conservative Host Eric Bolling is Suspended by Fox News

One-by-one, key players at Fox News are being taken out by allegations that remain untested in any judicial proceedings. On Friday evening August 4 at 8:23 PM, an article was published at HuffPost: “Fox News Host Sent Unsolicited Lewd Text Messages To Colleagues, Sources Say.” The article had obviously been in preparation for some time, since it included a statement from Bolling’s attorney defending his client. The host is Eric Bolling, 54, a friend of President Donald Trump, and a defender of the president in his role as a prominent anchor and co-host on the Fox News channel (FNC).
Friday night, after seeing the HuffPost article, which was also mass distributed by Yahoo News, FNC executives, according to a Fox News spokesperson, decided that Bolling’s weekly half hour Saturday morning FNC show Cashin’ In, that had already been pre-recorded as usual on Friday, would not be shown. A live news broadcast was substituted instead. On Saturday, an FNC spokesperson issued a terse statement: “Eric Bolling has been suspended pending the results of an investigation, which is currently underway.” Later Saturday afternoon, an FNC spokesperson emailed me with this additional information.
Paul, Weiss is conducting the investigation.
Rotating substitute hosts will be in place on The Specialists (weekdays/5pm) and Cashin In' (Saturdays at 11:30am).
After the suspension was announced, Bolling’s attorney Michael J. Bowe defended his client in an email, according to the AP:

“The anonymous, uncorroborated claims are untrue and terribly unfair. We intend to fully cooperate with the investigation so that it can be concluded and Eric can return to work as quickly as possible.”:snip:

5 Things to Know About the Eric Bolling Sex Scandal

The latest Fox News sex scandal hit Eric Bolling, co-host of "The Specialists" and former host of "The Five." Temporarily suspended from the network, Bolling has vowed to clear his name.
Here are five things to know about the scandal.

1. The allegations.

The story broke on Friday, when HuffPost's Yashar Ali published a story citing no fewer than 14 unnamed sources who confirmed that Bolling had sent an unsolicited photo of male genitalia via text message to at least two colleagues at Fox Business and one colleague at Fox News.
Ali reported that the women who received the photo confirmed its contents to HuffPost. The women, Bolling's current and former colleagues, recognized his number from the text messages, as they had his phone number from previous work-related and informal interactions. The messages were sent years ago, on separate occasions.
The women considered these messages, which they had not asked for, to be "deeply upsetting and offensive," Ali reported. One recipient said she replied to Bolling's text, telling him never to send her such photos again, and he did not respond. Four people, outside of the recipients, confirmed that they had seen the photo, and eight others said the recipients had spoken to them about it.:snip:

Eric Bolling was one of the few FNC people I was still willing to listen to.  There is no doubt Fox news is under assault.  However, his lawyer saying, "Mr. Bolling recalls no such inappropriate communications and does not believe he sent any such communications" makes me wonder.  He doesn't "recall" and "doesn't believe"?  I don't care how long ago it was, you would know for sure, without a doubt if you had done such a thing or not.  Maybe it's lawyer-speak that I don't understand.  But all these people on all the "news" channels are celebrities, earning millions of dollars.  They live in their own bubbles and lose perspective of a lot of what passes for normal life in this country.  Good grief, it turns out Kimberly Guilfoyle was dating Anthony Scaramucci, whose pregnant wife had filed for divorce!  I am sick of the whole bunch.

All of this garbage has given the people that have called Fox "Fake News" for years just so much more ammunition. Gloating on FB, HuffPo and all the Lib sites is overwhelming.

Are we supposed to believe there is no garbage to dig up among the celebrity "journalists" on CNN or MSNBC. or NBC, CBS, or ABC?  I'm sure there's plenty..  There is big money behind this assault on FNC.

Yup.  They're trying to take away his advertisers.
