Draggingtree
American Thinker: September 2, 2014 58 Senate Seats for the GOP?By M. Joseph Sheppard A substantial number of political prognosticators, including the likes of the highly respected Nate Silver's 538.com blog, give the Republicans a substantial chance of not only picking up senate seats in November, but of getting at least 51 and thus a working majority (50 seats would see a tie with Vice-President Biden giving the Dem's a majority). Where the seers differ is not only the percentage probability of the Republicans gaining control of the senate, just how many seats the GOP will end up with. This is where the tracking poll sites like Real Clear Politics and Electoral-Vote.com come to the fore. Their weekly, or even daily

clearvision
The dream is that it would make a difference. Will it? Didn't last time Or the time before. Gawd, I'm sick of this crap. I don't think a 2 R or eventually a 3 R USA would make dent in the out of control budget and freebies. Politicians R & D (for the most part) are leeches/ticks at the national level. Too close to corporations/political actions groups (right/left/green/bigwar/etc). BUT I would rather have the 3 R's to at least stem the liberal/socialist agenda and wear big boy pants on the world scene. Then we can have time for things to gradually turn economically more conservative.
