Go Newt.......called The "o" incompetent.

well it's a well known fact that Newt is a racist. You don't have to believe me just ask Rev. Al.

I was going to compliment all four on their closings......then Rick started talking.

Oh my. I know. I was really wanting to like him as candidate more than I have been.

Some good points but...hmmmm.

Romney was pretty good, but seemed flat compared to past performances.

Newt gave his usual great debate performance, but his baggage is still an issue.

They didn't spend enough time on foreign policy for RP to trip over himself, so he did okay.

Rick Santorum should withdraw.

I would vote for any of them, over what we have now.

Newt won. Mitt did great.

The Republican party scored on this, IMO, we were allowed to actually discuss ideas, call out bullshit and educate.

Win/Win

I would say they all offer a complete contrast to "The One".

Ron Paul * Newt Gingrich were the tow that show they have a real understanding of the problems facing us. To bad Paul is so very very very wrong of foreign policy.

Mitt and Newt tie. Rick should go. RP-no comment(I don't want to bash Valin's candidate) ;)

This tax return issue is driving me nuts. Release so we know and/or release so the opposition in concert with the media can pick it apart and get enough soundbites to do damage.

Stop it, we don't care.

These last two debates have been superior to the other debates. Would love to see Newt debate Obama, that would be worth watching

He said he would do a 3 hour Lincoln/Douglas style debate and let the O bring his teleprompter.

Must see tv.

Which ever one wins the nomination will be required by law to release their returns, so I don't know what the feet dragging is about.

To me, if they win the nomination...okay. Why give the opposition talking points? I understand Newt's position of knowing of the dangers before a nomination, etc. Just doesn't sit right with me and seems to be an invasion of privacy and a gateway to asking for a cheek swab and anal probe next. Just me.

Good point. I don't recall anyone haranguing John (I served in Viet Nam) Kerry about his tax returns....or Algore, for that matter.

I hope one holds out his tax return for the birth certificate and college transcripts of the sitting president who had to supply....diddly?

Gretta asking Newt about the ex-wife thing....acknowledged that he "took the skin off" of John King for asking the question to open the debate.

The instrument has yet been made that can measure my lack of enthusiasm for that subject.

John had to know that, that was coming.

After the debate and during an interview with AC360, Newt complemented King on a good job. Not burning bridges.

I'm thinking that King feels like SOMETHING got burned. :)
