Geee
American Spectator:WASHINGTON -- While inspecting the body politic, one encounters one clear sign that Liberalism is dead. It is the condition of our political discourse. Polite commentators note that the dialogue is "rancorous." Some say toxic. Actually it is worse than that. It is nonexistent. From the right, from the sophisticated right, there is an attempt to engage the Liberals. Budget Chairman Paul Ryan just did it by presenting a budget that cried out for intelligent response. President Barack Obama's response was to invite Chairman Ryan to sit in the front row for Obama's "fiscal policy" speech at George Washington University. There, Obama heaped scorn on an astonished Ryan and his work. He did not even mention Ryan's name. This is what Obama calls an "adult" debate? From the rest of the Liberals there is generally silence. They prattle on about Glenn Beck or Sarah Palin, but they pay almost no heed to the think tanks on the right, to their journals of opinion, or to the writers and figures of heft. The Liberals are dead. There are the zombies out there. Well-known politicians such as Al Gore or writers such as the New York Times columnist Paul Krugman, who howls about the Heritage Foundation while fudging that think tank's findings or about the aforementioned Ryan, but there is no one capable of engaging the serious conservatives. None even tries. Their idea of dialogue amounts to hurling what are lines fit for a bumper sticker—"I Am a Citizen of the World" or "War Is Not the Answer." Or perhaps they hurl a slur—conservatives are "extreme," though by now the conservatives have been around for decades and running the country more frequently than not: the Reagan Administration, Bush Administration, and the Gingrich Congress. Have the Liberals not noticed this? As I say, Liberalism is dead.

Whether it's Barry himself, or "Harry Pelosi", or "Nancy Reid", or the resident MSNBC anchor, or Whoppi, or some remnant talkers from Air America... they all hit the airwaves daily with the same tired slogans. Rush's audio montages of the identical soundbites being repeated by dozens of different Lib mouthpieces is chilling when you think about it. AceRimmer
NCT! There's a reason I never put political bumper stickers on my car. Lefties love to plaster them all over there own cars, but won't hesitate to key your car or smash a window or windshield if they see a conservative bumpersticker for a Republican candidate or NRA sticker on your car. Yes, I got keyed for having a Bush/Cheney sticker on my car. Got cussed out at a stop sign by a guy who was literally foaming at the mouth. Spittle - ick! Given the finger many times (and, not just for my awesome driving abilities). So, now, I have a few stickers on magnetic sheets that I can put on and take off as appropriate. Sorry you had slugs where you drive! I'm fortunate to have a mechanically correct 1988 Buick Century Limited SLC [sh***y Little Car] that once was a vibrant banana yellow & is now looking like a banana that has started to turn. People are afraid to get too close to it......whether parked or on the road......especially if they aren't updated on their tetanus shots. I made my son Marcus, [6'4" & 235 lbs.] a poster sized picture of Obama as "the Joker" with the words, "Why So Socialist?" underneath. He took great delight in placing it on the back window of his Chevy Blazer. The people that were mad at him would flip him off and scream at him & he'd just laugh hysterically. He did say that he was stopped several times by people that wanted a poster themselves & he got thumbs up & honks'n'waves quite a bit
NCTexan
I am not a "bumper sticker" guy... But I got so tired of seeing the hateful liberal stickers during the GWB error, I put a NOBAMA sticker on my rear window in August 2008 and it's remained there since. I sometimes get a "look" from an Obamanista... but I find it very entertaining. It will remain there until he's out of office.

Actually, it came with stickers when I bought it second hand and I added to them. Nobody dared come near it. It was kewl. Then, along came clunker time and I had to do it. Got a brand new Nissan Frontier..wouldn't dare put a sticker on it
