Baseball legend Pete Rose has passed away at the age of 83.

While his cause of death has not yet been made public, his agent confirmed his passing to TMZ.

Rose had a lengthy career in Major League Baseball, notably playing for the Cincinnati Reds and the Philadelphia Phillies. He retired as the league's leader in all-time hits.

During his career, he made 4,256 hits and set the record for most games played at 3,562.

He also managed the Reds from 1984-1989 but was banned from the MLB for betting on the game, making him ineligible to enter the sport's hall of fame.

He told the Cincinnati Enquirer in 2018 that he regretted betting on baseball.

“There’s only one thing I would change if I had to live it all over again … I would obviously turn my life around and not bet on baseball,” he said.:snip:

This is all that will be remembered of him, not Charlie Hustle. :(
