Geee
Daily Caller The United Nations’ 28th annual climate summit kicked off Thursday in Dubai. While President Joe Biden did not turn out this year, another aging fool decided to make an appearance. When it comes to the climate scam, King Charles III is the one you have to worry about. The UN Climate Change Conference or Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC (better known as COP28), is about as much of a jumbled mish-mash of priorities as its name suggests. After seemingly endless administrative nonsense, the world will hear from technocrats hellbent on “fast tracking the energy transition and slashing emissions before 2030 to limit global warming to 1.5° C (2.7° F) above pre-industrial levels.” This won’t be cheap — “delivering on finance” means keeping “old promises” to “developing countries;” in other words, a massive wealth transfer from America to the rest of the world. And of course, “gender” and “inclusivity” must be taken into account. Got that? Your kids will have to adapt to a lower standard of living because Western elites want to save Indonesian ladies from the weather What’s meant to be a very serious convention of experts and global leaders is, in reality, a veritable schmooze-fest of who’s who. Leaders throughout the West will all show their faces. John Kerry will represent the U.S., while billionaires, activists and “spiritual leaders” will all make appearances of their own. Middle Eastern royalty, enjoying home court advantage, are set to turn out in force. And naturally, the list would be incomplete without the real stars – the Hollywood actors who inevitably pop up at the event every year. Does anyone really believe that most of the attendees care about climate change as anything more than just a vanity project? Hell no. They’re there to mingle, get good press and hopefully earn some concessions from self-flagellating Western leaders. The name that stands out most however, is King Charles of the United Kingdom. He delivered the opening address Friday morning, in which he called for “genuine transformational action” in such hysterical terms that even Greta Thunberg would’ve blushed. SDwaters
Time for a climate exit - American Thinker We peasant classes sitting at home note that climate royalty, including King Charles from the U.K., John Kerry from USA, and Blackouts Bowen from Australia, are all flying there, burning vast amounts of carbon fuels. Fittingly, these hypocrites chose to meet in the richest and most wasteful artificial city in the world, wallowing in wealth derived from oil, gas, and air travel tourists.
Geee
Pope Francis to COP28: Climate Has ‘Run Amok,’ Planet ‘Overheating’ ROME — Pope Francis sent a message Saturday to the COP28 United Nations climate summit decrying the “unbridled exploitation” of the environment by first world nations. Climate change “greatly endangers all human beings,” the pontiff said in his sternly worded address, and “time is short” to react to the current ecological crisis. “It has now become clear that the climate change presently taking place stems from the overheating of the planet,” the pope declared, “caused chiefly by the increase of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere due to human activity, which in recent decades has proved unsustainable for the ecosystem.” Due to an “inflammation of the lungs,” the pope was unable to travel personally to Dubai to read his message, so the text was read instead by Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin. Francis is getting long in the tooth an of late his health is not the best. It will be interesting Who the next Pontiff will be. IMO (and from the Outside) Rome is in need of a John Paul II or Benedict. “time is short” to react to the current ecological crisis. Seen this movie Before!

Anything you see going on is Society, you'll see going on inside The Church (ie The Body Of Christ). Catholic. Protestant, Orthodox (don't know about Orthodox, have not looked, but would not surprise me), You could make a good argument Satan Is Making A Move. As an Aside James had better Be Careful! You look at who he s hanging out with, his Atheism is In Danger! “In reading Chesterton, as in reading MacDonald, I did not know what I was letting myself in for. A young man who wishes to remain a sound Atheist cannot be too careful of his reading. There are traps everywhere — "Bibles laid open, millions of surprises," as Herbert says, *"fine nets and stratagems." God is, if I may say it, very unscrupulous.” C.S. Geee
Climate summit leader said there’s ‘no science’ behind need to phase out fossil fuels, alarming scientists he president of the COP28 climate summit, Sultan Al Jaber, recently claimed there is “no science” that says phasing out fossil fuels is necessary to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, in comments that have alarmed climate scientists and advocates. The future role of fossil fuels is one of the most controversial issues countries are grappling with at the COP28 climate summit. While some are pushing for a “phase-out,” others are calling for the weaker language of a “phase-down.” Scientific reports have shown that fossil fuels must be rapidly slashed to keep global warming below 1.5 degrees — the goal of the Paris climate agreement, and a threshold above which scientists warn it will be more difficult for humans and ecosystems to adapt. Geee
EPAs Own Data Shows Only 19% of All Climate Stations Reported Warming Since 1948 As reported by EPA, only 19% of all weather stations report an increase in the number of hot days since 1948! Below is an important chart that somehow slipped by EPA’s “consensus” censorship squad. It is a map of all 1,066 weather stations across the United States. The change in the number of hot days for that station are ID’d as increasing (red), stayed the same (blank) or decreasing (blue).

He should spend more time talking about spiritual conversion, not ecological conversion.
