Tulsi Gabbard Points Out Absurdity of Biden's Supreme Court Nomination

:snip:

Meanwhile, Republican Senator Rand Paul questions how Jackson can effectively evaluate cases at the Supreme Court without being able to define the term woman.

“You know, Senator Blackburn asked her a question and said, ‘Can you define a woman?’ Well, if you’re not even willing to answer that question and many of the questions she has been unwilling to answer, if you can’t answer the question, ‘What is a woman?’ or the definition of a woman, how is she going to adjudicate Title IX cases that have to do with women or women in sports? How is she going to adjudicate whether a boy who swims for can all of a sudden switch and pretend to be a girl and swim on the girls’ team?” Paul said during an interview with Newsmax. “She’s not going to be able to adjudicate any of these things, or perhaps she is telegraphing us that she is going to be able to adjudicate them in such that you can be whatever you feel like you want to be that day, which will lead to a ruination of women’s sports and lead to really chaos in women’s sports and women’s athletics." :snip:

Ruth Bader Ginsburg rolling over in grave at Ketanji Brown Jackson's answers

:snip:

Consider some of the landmark cases Ginsburg worked on to advance women’s equality in the country. In United States v. Virginia, the Supreme Court ruled it was unconstitutional for state schools, funded by taxpayer money, to prohibit women from attending. Ginsburg wrote the groundbreaking majority opinion.

“There is no reason to believe that the admission of women capable of all the activities required of (Virginia Military Institute) cadets would destroy the institute rather than enhance its capacity to serve the ‘more perfect union,’” she wrote.

In 1974, Ruth Bader Ginsburg's work paved the way for the Equal Credit Opportunity Act of 1974. It was a significant development for women’s financial autonomy, and it allowed women to be able to apply for mortgages without a male co-signer. Additionally, it permitted women to access bank accounts and credit cards.

“Women belong in all places where decisions are being made,” Ginsburg famously said. Yet, such a statement would be irrelevant given Jackson's inability to define a woman. After all, how could women belong in specific places if no one is sure what constitutes being a woman? Also, it is safe to presume since women are unable to be defined, then the importance of having women on the Supreme Court is also moot, right?:snip:

Jackson gets Manchin backing for Supreme Court seat, assuring her confirmation

Kaelan Deese, Breaking News Reporter

March 25, 2022

Sen. Joe Manchin said Friday he intends to vote in favor of confirming Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, meaning she's practically assured of getting through the 50-50 Senate.

“After meeting with her, considering her record, and closely monitoring her testimony and questioning before the Senate Judiciary Committee this week, I have determined I intend to vote for her nomination to serve on the Supreme Court," Manchin told reporters.

The West Virginia Democrat's open support near-guarantees President Joe Biden's nominee to succeed retiring Justice Stephen Breyer will be the first black woman justice to sit on the nine-member court, as Democrats hold a narrow majority in the 50-50 Senate, given the vice president's tiebreaking vote.

“Notably, Judge Jackson and her family spend a great deal of time in West Virginia, and her deep love of our state and commitment to public service were abundantly clear," Manchin added.

We've Defined 'Woman' for You

:snip:

Merriam-Webster defines "woman" as "an adult female person." To make sense of that definition, it requires us to define another word, "female." Merriam-Webster defines "female" as "of, relating to, or being the sex that typically has the capacity to bear young or produce eggs."

In simplified terms, a "woman" is a human being capable of giving birth to another human being.

If that definition is still too confusing or not thorough enough, here are four scientific ways to know if a person is a woman:

– They have XX chromosomes

– They were born with a uterus and ovaries

– They have menstrual / ovarian cycles

– They can give birth to another human being

See, defining "woman" and identifying one isn't so hard after all.

:snip:Interestingly, there are a handful of Senate Democrats who are more conservative than some Republicans. While there are 53 Republicans in the Senate, the 47th most conservative Senator is Arizona Democrat Kyrsten Sinema, the 50th most conservative is Alabama Democrat Doug Jones, and the 53rd is West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin. Both Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski (ranked 54th and 56th respectively) are less conservative than those three. Murkowski is the least conservative Republican Senator, while Kamala Harris was to the immediate left of a socialist last year.:snip: Bongino.com

The question I would ask then is Why Are They Members Of The Party They Are?
